Constructed from through-color Duraglas composite material and high-performance matte finish design that resists cracking and chipping. The Defender Visor for Cairns 1044 fire helmets offers eye protection from dust, dirt, and grit. It stays clean inside the helmet until eye protection is needed during overhaul and non-IDLH search-and-recovery. Sleek and attractive construction allows for fast, easy raising and lowering of the visor even with gloved hands.

• Patented shell release system retains the impact cap if your helmet is torn off during an incident, shielding you from heat, debris and projectiles
• Full brim protection with high-temperature edge trim that will not melt or drip
• Soft black Nomex chinstrap features one-hand quick-release buckle and postman slide for quick removal and adjustment
