What Is Mixed Gain Mode?
Standard fire service thermal imaging cameras are like manual transmissions. They have to shift between high-sensitivity mode capturing cooler temperatures and fine detail, and low-sensitivity mode, which captures higher temperatures. Most require 2% to 32% of the pixels to agree before the camera switches and colorization kicks in.
