Each strut consists of a 3 inch aluminum alloy tube with a solid 2 ½ inch aluminum alloy moveable Acme threaded shaft. The four largest sizes can be extended manually or using compressed air from a SCBA cylinder. Acme Thread Struts are a very easy to use and train on. There are no removable pins or jacking systems to worry about, making this system extremely easy to deploy.
| | | | | | STRUT EXTENSIONS |  Strut Extensions are used to increase the size of your Acme Struts allowing for more versatility of the Paratech Rescue Support Systems. The Strut Extensions come in four specific lengths 6 inch, 12 inch, 24 inch and 36 inch aluminum alloy tubing of the same type used in the manufacturing the Acme Struts.

DUAL DEADMAN SAFETY RELIEF & CONTROL VALVE

 | Single input/dual output controller incorporating quick disconnect hose fittings and dual push button controls to apply or reduce pressure to one or two rescue struts. Two gauges are provided to monitor the air pressure applied to either one or two struts and a 250psi relief valve is incorporated to limit the applied air.  | Paratech’s custom 3/8 inch inside diameter supply hose comes in three lengths (16’, 32’, 50’) a variety of colours and equipped with quick disconnect hose fittings. The hose is designed for working pressure of 300psi and a temperature of -4.4°C to 65.5°C. | | |
ELEVATOR SUPPORT UNIT ADAPTER KIT

 | Paratech’s Elevator Support Unit (ESU) safely stabilizes an elevator and prevents it from moving. When deployed the ESU causes zero to minimal damage to elevator cars and affords rescue teams precious time to extricate passengers and save lives. Two unique strut bases and end plates form the core components of this system. An Angled Rubber Base attaches to either Rescue Strut and grips the floor, while the Elevator Support Arm attaches to the top of the Rescue Strut and hooks under the elevator car. The Elevator Support Unit Adapter Kit must be used with two Acme Thread Struts 25”-36” and two Acme Thread Struts 36”-58”.
