| Majestic fire hoods are manufactured with proven flame-resistant materials and pre-shrunk to minimize shrinkage. An elastic face opening ensures a snug fit around your face or SCBA mask. Wider cut allows superior air circulation. All seams are merrow stitched, then top and bottom covered with a 5-thread cover stitch for extended durability. All bottom edges are finished with a wear-resistant binding. Made to withstand years of hard use and laundering. These Majestic hoods are UL certified and are compliant to meet the NFPA 1971-2007 standard of performance (Protective Ensembles for Structural Fire Fighting and Proximity Fire Fighting, 2007 Edition). Hoods also comply with Cal/OSHA standards.
| | | A.J. Stone stocks the PAC II style, which is the most popular style of fire retardant hoods. The notched shoulder allows for proper drapage for added protection across the chest area. The longer length (3 inches longer than NFPA requires) assures that this hood will stay tucked inside other required equipment.

| PBI PAC II-PBI | Ultra C6 PAC II - C6 | Description | Developed back in the 1960s and commercialized in 1967. DuPontTM Nomex is revolutionary, heat and flame resistant fiber. All thread used is 100% Nomex.
| PBI stands for Polybenzimidazole, a heat and flame resistant fiber for a multitude of high-temperature applications. In 1980s PBI was introduced to Fire Services.
| The new carbon tri-blend (Ultra C6) has been engineered to address the concerns and needs in the safety world. Its unique mix of fibers maximizes the inherent performance properties of each fiber to provide optimal protection and comfort. Enhanced comfort adds to functionality and improves the wearer’s performance and efficiency in the work place. | | Image | | | | Content
