SHEETROCK & MASTER HOOKS Firefighting Tools These hooks provide a more versatile design that achieves a secure purchase in all types of ceiling and wall material. Larger Contact Point-A large 4 in (10.2 cm) contact point allows for greater areas of sheet rock or lath and plaster to be pulled with each downward thrust. Larger Penetrating Teeth- The teeth penetrate tin roofs in three places to allow a better purchase so it will not pull through. Combination Rake and Hoe- This feature allows for easy overhaul of smoldering debris piles, hay bales and rags.
Penetration-A honed point makes penetration easier in the toughest of materials. The arched hook at the back of the blade adds a leverage point for greater flexibility in tight spots. Exceptional Pry Action-The large tooth area and head mass allow the teeth to be placed behind heavy moldings or on the hinge side of doors for easy removal by prying. *Note: Available in 3 handle styles BOSTON RAKE HOOK The long flat blade and extended shaft make it ideal for pulling lath and plaster walls and ceiling, spreading out debris during overhaul, or any other difficult overhaul jobs. *Note: Available in 3 handle styles and with 2 choices of shaft material. MULTI-HOOK Multi-Hook is highly effective in the rapid removal of wood, lath and plaster, tin and metal sheet walls and ceiling, plasterboard, fiberboard and sheetrock. MANGANESE BRONZE HEAD-Special malleable alloy of manganese bronze with a breaking strength over 110,000 psi (7.75T/cm3) is used for strength, durability and to decrease the possibility of sparks in an explosive atmosphere. Flared ADZ-The ADZ on both sides is flared for a larger pulling surface at the contact point and easy removal of large areas of material.
Pointed Hook-Head- Specially tapered hook head point can be thrust through all materials more easily than conventional hooks. | | EXTENSION HOOK The extension hook gives the firefighter several hooks in one. This tool can be extended from 6 to 10 ft (183 cm to 305 cm) in length. The shorter closed length lets you take the “Long Hook” down hallways and around corners as well as fitting it on an elevator. The firefighter is also able to open up that “second” ceiling for more effective ventilation. HIGH-RISE HOOK A shorter version of the extension hook to be combined with your high-rise pack. The 3 ft (92 cm) closed hook can be carried with the high-rise pack and extends to 4 1 /2' (137.2 cm) for effective overhaul without additional manpower to carry another tool. | |
