Company History

After a long and successful career in the sales and manufacturing sector of the fire equipment industry, the late Mr. Alfred J. Stone incorporated his own company in 1972. Before long, A.J. Stone Co. was well known in the Canadian Fire Market for knowledge, selection of quality products, and fair prices.

Today, A.J. Stone Co. is proudly run by a second generation, Bill and Debbie, and their sons Mike and Dan, the third generation, and a fabulous team of sales and support staff to further the vision of unsurpassed service, product selection, and customer satisfaction to the fire services of Ontario and beyond.

In 2015, the company moved to a 20,000 sq. ft. office/warehouse facility located in Vaughan, just north of Toronto and conveniently located just east of the 400/407 highways. The company now employs 3 warehouse staff, 10 geographically located outside sales representatives, 8 support and customer service staff, and 4 Certified MSA SCBA/TNT Rescue Repair and Service Technicians.

A.J. Stone Co. continues to function under the certification of the Quality Management System of ISO 9001:2008 and will be working toward the new edition of the Standard to ISO 9001: 2015 throughout next year. This management system aids A.J. Stone Co. in our continuous journey of growth and to provide consistently exemplary service and satisfaction for our valued customers.
